why is a path a point?
a point is a node where many paths intersect
every possible path leads away from a node

the purpose of a node being to connect nodes
is there a node without paths?
if so, does the node disappear?

when a node disappears, where does it go?
do all paths point to the node itself?

since energy is a function of time
it cannot be that the first time energy is 'used'
(out of the total possible energies)
does not affect the outcome of future energy exchanges

what is needed?

that the least amount of energy is 'expended'
to 'do' as much as possible
whenever energy is 'expended' by one 'thing',
it is 'gained' by 'another'
